Conversation and Tips for IELTS Speaking

 Introduction: 

One of the four parts of the IELTS exam is the Speaking test. It is a 15-minute test that assesses your ability to speak English in a variety of situations. Three sections make up the test: 



 

Part 1: The examiner asks you questions about yourself and your background. 

Part 2: You are given a topic and asked to talk about it for 2 minutes. 

Part 3: You are given a conversation with the examiner and asked to discuss it.

• Be assured: The examiner is not there to deceive you or cause you to feel uneasy. They are simply there to assess your English speaking skills. So, relax and be confident in your ability to communicate. 
Listen carefully to the questions: The examiner will ask you a variety of questions, so it is important to listen carefully to each one. Ask the examiner to repeat a question if you do not understand it. 
Answer the questions fully: Do not give one-word answers. Instead, give complete and detailed answers that show your understanding of the question. 
Use a range of vocabulary: Do not use the same words over and over again. Try to use a variety of vocabulary to express yourself. 
Structure your sentences correctly: Make sure that your sentences are grammatically correct and easy to understand. Be natural: Do not try to memorize your answers. Just speak naturally and try to answer the questions to the best of your ability.
