PTE Speaking is a section, which seems easy but blows up your mind when you find your result. This is because we generally do not care about our pronunciations while preparing for the PTE test. Let us see how to improve your pronunciation for PTE Speaking:

1.      Read with Syllables

One of the best tips to prepare for the PTE test, try to read according to syllables. This way you can practice pronunciation as well. Syllables and phonetics are great ways to understand the pronunciation of a word. As the PTE test is computer-based, the evaluation will be done based on American English.

2.       Fast is not fluent

Most of the candidates believe fastness is required for a high score on the PTE test. Nevertheless, it is false. The accent needs a certain range of speed that can be understandable. So never, run behind the words.

3.      Stress it

Understand the sentence where it needs to be stressed and where it is not required. This is the major point where we lose marks. One of the effective tips to improve your PTE Speaking score is to learn the expression of letters.

4.      Listen and sing songs

Songs are the greatest platform to learn more words and their pronunciation. At the same time don't fall for the raps as the raps include some improper words with wrong pronunciations. Practicing songs is also a fun way to practice PTE speaking pronunciation

5.      Talk to mirror practice

Try to talk to the mirror this way you can find your mistakes easily. The mirror can help in changes in your facial expression as well as this will help in pronouncing a sentence with expression. That means where the pauses are needed and where it is not required.

6.      Spelling and pronunciation doesn’t match

Understand this concept. It is not a rule that how the letter is pronounced and it is pronounced the same in a word. So make sure you are learning both ways.

7.      Evaluate yourself

This is a key step in improving your English pronunciation. Most of the candidates focus on the speech rather than sound. It is better to record yourself and check the pronunciations. Even better improvement can be observed if you practice with time.
